Drug
test kit: test for 3 most common drugs. Don’t rely on excuse:
Out-of-the-way from launching a legal challenge, your best protection
against urine testing is to be clean. We think no one
should be enforced to be presented to urine testing, particularly
for marijuana. Sadly, this may be difficult since urine
tests may detect marijuana 1-5 days after a sporadic use, 1-3
weeks in habitual users, and 4-6 weeks in multiple daily users. Since
urine tests do not detect the psychoactive ingredient
of marijuana, THC, but rather other, non active metabolites,
they in no way calculate destruction; however, this fact is of no account
to employers in today's anti-drug madness. If you are on the job market,
it is cautious to expect being tested and stay away from marijuana.
"False positives," in which workers are wrongfully accuse
of marijuana use, are highly not likely so long as
labs exercise proper care (however, not all labs do this). Yes, urine
tests are not foolproof; but it is difficult to challenge positive test
results. Because the standard procedures is to first screening the samples
with an immunoassay test, and then confirm positive results with the
more accurate gas chromatograph mass spectrometer (GCMS).These almost
eliminate the probability of false positives in replace for a somewhat
high rate of "false negatives," where drug use is not detected.
The sensitivity of the test is determined by the concentration of Marijuana
metabolites it is set to detect: for the Dept. of Transportation,
the standard cutoff is 50 ng/ml.

INFORMATION

Myth: Marijuana is a harmless drug.
Fact: Marijuana is a powerful drug that affects the mind. Marijuana
contains more substances that cause cancer than tobacco, an it produces
dependence. Chronic marijuana smokers are more susceptible to disease
and experience a lack of motivation as a result of their using the
drug.

According to the Canadian Medical Association Journal:
"Health Canada’s decision to legitimize
the medicinal use of marijuana is a step in the right direction.
But a bolder stride
is needed. The possession of small quantities for personal use should
be decriminalized. The minimal negative health effects of moderate
use would be attested to by the estimated 1.5 million Canadians who
smoke marijuana for recreational purposes. The real harm is the legal
and social fallout. About half of all drug arrests in Canada are for
simple possession of small amounts of marijuana: about 31,299 convictions
in 1995 alone."
